GTP-U Tunnel Usage

Hi,

Attach procedure is completed, however I would like to know how it is possible to use the GTP-U tunnel that is being created following the attach procedure. I already activated the GPU-U/IP over control option but I cannot capture any GTP traffic being initiated from the PDN ip address. I have tested this with the ping -i {pdn_ip} option and the icmp traffic is not being encapsulated, shall I use gtp_dialer ?

Ok so I assume you set option 50 after getting attach accept? The app uses tunnel interfaces so you should see the PDN IP as the address of one of the tunnel interfaces. Option 50 just adds default routes pointing to tunnel interface so that machine traffic is sent over tunnel interface to be encapsulated in GTPu. Can you print here your interfaces and routes after setting option 50? (ip address and ip route commands)

I currently reinstalled the enb on a different host given that the first had already preconfigured routes. Right now, im able to see the gtp traffic being encapsulated to the core. However there is a small issue with the ICMP pong replying to the enb instead of the gateway ip. This did not happen with a commercial UE.
