Cast not working

First of all, thanks for the sample, it's so interesting and i would like to test at all!

I've changed the app id for the one that i have, and the project is running fine (without the images, but it's running).

When i press the cast button and connect to my chomecast, the connection is established but there's nothing on my screen, only the chromecast logo. I can't see no error in the logcat.

What am I doing wrong?

Do we have any idea why it's no longer supported, (permissions/security concerns?) - also thanks @rodo117 i've been treading water on this for a couple a days. So is there no longer anyway to mirror content in app?
