5.1.2 - Weather Condition Name
New features:
- Garmin has deprecated the weather location name feature on newer firmwares. To make use of that space, MoveToBeActive will now show the weather condition description instead. Some older watches (i.e. Venu 1 and 2, some older ForeRunners and Vivoactives) still have not received the latest firmware, so in case the location name has not yet been deprecated on your watch, it will still be displayed.
- Changed Heart Rate data field to display "--" instead of zero when no heart beats are being identified by the watch (like when not wearing it). Thanks to Marek M. for the feedback.
Bug Fixes:
- Corrected some situations where the tip of the seconds hand was not showing the proper color (applicable to AMOLED only)
- Improved position of icon and text of heart rate, seconds, digital time and intensity minutes data fields on some watches
- Fixed date that was not being displayed when using the Light theme; (thanks drkreinig for the bug report);
- Improved the position of some data fields' icons and texts (i.e. battery consumption/day).
Other general changes:
- Updated to Garmin SDK 7.3.1
5.1.0 - Seconds Hand and Buffered Bitmap
- Seconds Hand can now be activated on the "Layout" menu (only available for AMOLED screens for now, but I'm thinking about maybe porting it to MIP in the future). Expect higher battery usage if using this feature (which is why it had not been introduced until now)
- Added suppport for new watches: Fenix E, Fenix 8 43/47/51mm, Fenix 8 Solar 47/51mm, Enduro 3
Other general changes:
- Improved position of icon and text of precipitation data field when used on the left side locations
- Changed Heart Rate data field to display "--" instead of zero when no heart beats are being identified by the watch, like when not wearing it. Thanks to Marek M. for the feedback.
- Reintroduced the usage of buffered bitmaps for the background color, which reduced memory usage by 10%, reducing battery usage and allowing older watches (like Venu SQ, Fenix 5, Fenix 6, etc.) to receive all the new features that were introduced to MoveToBeActive on version 5.0.0, as well as allow future updates for all supported watches
- Updated to Garmin SDK 7.3.0
5.0.0 - Theme selector
- Light and Dark theme selector
- Added suppport for new watches: ForeRunner 165 and 165 music
4.4.0 - New data field and fix for sunset

4.3.1 - Venu 3 and Vivoactive 5
- Adjustments to Battery Text position on high resolution watches
- Now using Garmin SDK 6.3.0
- Added support for new watches recently released by Garmin: Venu 3, Venu 3S and Vivoactive 5
4.3.0 - SDK 6 +New features
New features:
- Added support for new watches recently released by Garmin: Fenix 7 PRO series, Epix gen 2 PRO series and Approach S70 (42 & 47mm).
- Added a new data source to show only active calories burned (instead of only the total calories)
- Added another new data source to show digital time (12h or 24h formats allowed, base on watch config)
- Added an extra layout option allowing the user to select the hour labels to follow accent color or keep default (gray)
- Added option to show the battery icon always in gray or the default conditional colors (green/yellow/red)
General changes:
- Adjusted the orange tone of the body battery icon, as the previous color was too close to red
- AM/PM for 12h format now showing on smaller size when bigger data field font is selected (both for digital clock and next sun event)
- Fixed an issue with the hands thickness selector (layout menu)
- Settings menu improvements to further reduce memory usage
- Now using Garmin SDK 6.2.2
4.2.1 - SDK 4.2.2 and Next Sun Event
- Added "Next Sun Event" data field (12 or 24h format)
- The body battery icon will now change colors according to current value (Red, Orange, Yellow, Blue)
- Adding support for the newly released MARQ 2 and Forerunner 265, 265s and 965 watches
- Code improvements to reduce memory usage of the config/customization menu and watch face
- Adapting code to SDK 4.2.2
- Added a toggle on the "Layout" menu to disable the current Weather Condition (Icon and Temperature)
- Added a toggle on the "Layout" menu to disable the Battery Icon
- The Garmin logo is now bigger on big AMOLED displays like those on the Epix 2, Venu 2 and 2 Plus and MARQ 2
- Moved the Accent Color toggle to the main "Config" menu (now out of the "Layout"), as this is by far the most frequently used feature. This way it will be a lot easier to reach and quicker to change between the different colors available.
4.0.9 - Fixing Feels Like Temp
- Fixed an error that happened when the feels like temperature was returning null from the weather station (random crashes)
- Another fix for the invalid "feels like temperature", that might cause a crash when accessing the customization menu.
- Fixed an issue with the Battery in Days not returning the correct value from the watch, will now show percentage if invalid value (instant crash when installing)
- Corrected a bug that happened only on Fenix 5 plus watches related to the availability of weather information, that was sometimes not being informed correctly by watch
- Changed the logic of the Amoled screen test, as it was causing issues on several watches after Garmin's recent firmware updates
- Code improvements that aim to reduce memory usage on watches that don't have floors climbed data (FR 245, 245s and Venu Sq).
- Other minor code improvements.
- Added Support for the newly released ForeRunner watches: 255, 255 Music, 255s, 255s Music, 955 and 955 solar.
- Corrected Hashmarks on Venu Sq to display the accurate time at 5, 10, 20, 25, 35, 40, 50 and 55 minutes. However, corner marks needed to be removed or else the watch would run out of memory. Will try to somehow bring them back on a future update, but can't promise that it will work.
4.0.3 - Handling invalid Weather Data
- Atmospheric Pressure is now being converted to Inches of Mercury (inHg) when the user has selected the temperature to be displayed in Fahrenheit.
- Added extra code with error handling to prevent a watch face crash (IQ icon) on a few situations where the weather station sometimes reports invalid data or the user has not provided location services permission to the Garmin Connect App.
- Updated to SDK 4.1.3 with Garmin bug fixes.
- Corrected the battery estimation unit inside the battery icon.
4.0.1 - Date Format
- Added option on the "Base Units" menu to change date format
- Changed the source of atmospheric pressure data, now using the raw data from the barometer instead of a smoothed value (slower to show changes)
- Changed code of the "battery in days" option, trying to fix the zero days bug
- Added one decimal case in the distance data field, even after the user has gone above 10 km/mi in a day
- Code change that will allow better compatibility of new features on future updates (avoiding need to reinstall issue that happened on 4.0.0)
