There is more we can do here. Also container signature patterns are even more complex than hexadecimal so it would be good to be permissive but enable accurate input.

There are example sequences that neither DROID or Siegfried can handle as noted by Greg in the related issue. Another example (BOF and EOF: (747874|62696E)) Can't be processed by DROID. The rule of thumb tends to be the need to have a concrete anchor as the basis for any signature. There should be some more information on this in the DROID GitHub issues and skeleton work too. Will look this up.
