Description: Maybe this is just how datums work and I’m ignorant, but I’m wondering how to accurately reflect both the lat/longs and the datums when the lat/longs are transformed by the datum listed. When trying to enter some Goodman sites with lat/longs that should read (-18.1872, 47.2872) by using datum WGS84 the lat/longs are transformed into (71.8624, 51.9766). [example site irn: 743011) |

Response: WGS84 with NO spaces is the appropriate string. We’ve cleaned up the 117 fish records that had a space. This format is what the UTM autocalculation logic uses to generate values: See filling in the UTM fields Note: also NAD27 NOT ‘NAD 27’ |

If there is no datum on the label then you should either leave it blank. If you choose to add the datum then you should indicate that you made that assumption in the comments field.
