Question 16: Is there an IT reason we use ‘overall’ in measurement taken? Can we just leave it blank? (LH) #1208

Response: Nothing to do with IT. That is an Exhibitions term used to indicate that the measurement is for an aspect of the whole object, so you can use it or not as you need/want too. A value in this indicates what was measured and should be paired with the Measurement Type field.

What that field is NOT for is the actual measurement, that belongs in the Value field with the appropriate unit if it is a number or in the Remarks field if it is text/descriptive.

Eg. Measurement taken = “Without lid” ; Measurement kind = “height”
