EMu is the Field Museum's collections management system (CMS) It's primary functions are:
The software was developed by KE Software which was eventually consumed by the Axiell Group. For further questions about the use of EMu within a particular department contact the relevant power user. NOTE: Prior to 2022 EMu was also the Museum's Digital Asset Management System (DAMS). In 2023 the Technology Department implemented a dedicated DAMS. CURRENT DAMS: NetX |
