Do we need to sanitize our HTML that we provide for Select options?

I installed Purify, but that actually removed the Tailwind CSS so the options lost their formatting. When I used HTML without purifying it looked as expected. There is a config file for Purify with a setting for CSS, but I would prefer not to manually add every Tailwind class I am going to use. Is there a way to allow every Tailwind class by default? Is there a better sanitizer or approach? Do I need to sanitize my own HTML used for the relative views/options?
