INSTRUCTIONS

Please backup your wallet prior to updating for safety.

The Electrum Firo data directory will be created after starting it for the first time. You will need to copy the wallets folder that is in your old Electrum-XZC data directory to the Electrum Firo data directory in order to migrate.

At the Install Wizard screen, click on the Choose button and locate the wallet file that you have copied to the new Electrum Firo data directory. A backup will be created and your old wallet should appear onscreen.

WARNING: Electrum uses a seed phrase format that is not compatible with the BIP39 format used in Firo QT and Electron wallets. You can restore the seeds from the two wallets into Electrum but not the other way around.
