Chandra grating data not read?

Chandra grating data are written as pha2 files -- all grating orders in a single FITS file. SpectralFitting can not read that file. If one splits the pha2 file into separate FITS files (one order per file), SpectralFitting can read the result.

SpectralFitting doesn't currently support Type II PHA files but we should add this support. More information about Type II PHA files with Chandra gratings data can be found here. Note that there are additional keywords with gratings data related to the grating (HEG, MEG, LEG, ...) and diffraction order. There are also two backgrounds, an "up" and "down" background taken from either side of the dispersed spectrum. More details of the background and background scaling keywords can be found here.
