Hi guys,
I am Athish from India. I worked on Fluentd during my internship so now i am eager in contributing to Fluent projects. Just wanted to introduce myself to get to know others who are also actively working on it :)

If you are finding an issue to solve, for example, here are some issues I know.

• in_forward plugin bind on both ipv4 and ipv6 #3001
• remove_key_name_field true when key_name is message causes ArgumentError error="message does not exist" #4575
  • For filter_parser's part.
• JSON parser plugin can sometimes output records as strings rather than Hash #4100
  • The remaining problem for filter_parser.
• Windows Service: Stopping service sometimes can not be completed forever #3937
  • If you are interested in Windows.

Hi, we’re preparing to cut for the v3.1.7 release. I noticed your PRs but sometimes there is no associated unit test changes. So, if possible, could you work for creating / modifying to adopt test cases for your working issues?

@daipom is there any thing like external people's PRs are not welcomed in Fluentbit?

I see 300 PR(~=300 issues) in the repo

Hmm, I'm not familiar with the fluent-bit situation, but I don't think so.
Maybe the maintainers just don't have enough time.

Sometimes, it'll be no responded for a while. Because C language is quite hard to manage allocated resources properly. External people are not often paying attentions for these managements. So, there is lots of postponed PRs.

BTW, Fluent Bit notation does not Fluentbit.
