Binary file in the tarballs

Hello,
lintian is reporting (and actually it is here) that there is binary file in installer/packages/de.dl2ic.qlog/data/

Is it a necessary file? I am not sure what is it used for.

Is it the timezone21.bin file? I’m on MacOS not linux but that is the only binary file I see in he res/data folder. That is a database file used to get the current timezone for a set of coordinates.

This is the one that causes the warning. Not sure if this installer folder as a whole is required as it seems pretty old.

Sometimes you don't notice things that have been there for years. You're right, this shouldn't be there. It will be removed
