I am facing difficulties installing ngspice on Windows 10 and connecting it with Redis for simulation purposes in the eSim-Cloud project. As a result, I am unable to initiate simulations and progress beyond the Redis queue. I would greatly appreciate guidance on how to properly install ngspice on Windows and establish the necessary connection with Redis.
Steps to Reproduce:
Attempted to install ngspice on Windows 10 using
Configured Redis following the provided documentation in the eSim-Cloud project.
Opened the desired project example in the eSim-Cloud platform.
Clicked the "Run" button to start the simulation.
Expected Behavior:
Upon clicking the "Run" button, the simulation should start utilizing the ngspice installation on Windows, connecting to Redis and progressing beyond the Redis queue, ultimately generating the expected simulation results.
Actual Behavior:
The simulation fails to progress beyond the Redis queue, indicating an issue with the ngspice installation and/or the connection with Redis. I suspect that my ngspice installation on Windows is incorrect or incomplete, preventing successful simulation execution.
Additional Information:
Operating System: Windows 10
Detailed instructions for installing ngspice on Windows and connecting it with Redis would be greatly appreciated.
Any specific configurations or dependencies that need to be taken into account while installing ngspice on Windows and establishing the connection with Redis.
Possible Solutions Attempted:
I have searched for installation instructions and guidance on connecting ngspice with Redis specifically for Windows, but haven't found clear instructions or resources to address this issue.
