Giving the possibility to set fetch:true?

I've recently implemented sails-seed into my project, however in Sails v1 the afterCreate lifecycle callback will only fire if the create query states to fetch the created record, hence i am wondering: Would it make sense to give the user the option set fetch to true per model? Similar to how one is able to set unique, etc.
