Range Not Satisfiable is now experiencing on video playback due to the fact that YouTube has changed the playback streams.

We now need an update for everyone, especially you @ftde0

Thanks to that change from YouTube, playback has been locked. Now we will wait for the update to arrive. Thank you.

hi,

first of all, please write comprehensibly. the way you word your issues implies that you will be the one doing the fixes and features you keep talking about. to date, you haven't submitted even one pull request actually contributing features you say you will do.

second of all, please stop commenting and making issues that don't add anything to yt2009 (for example: #106 (comment))

last, actually refering to the issue you're describing - issues relating to playback have had fixes 1 week ago. (commit 55faf2e). unless you've got a reproducible case of videos unable to play on yt2009 (not counting things like:

  • age-restricted videos, videos that require login
  • live videos - weren't a thing back in 2009 and wouldn't be simple to implement due to yt2009's proxying kind while supporting all legacy devices)

please don't add anything without value.
make sure you're up to date on your self-hosted yt2009 instance (1.13.0.4 as of writing this comment. anything less is considered out-of-date.). you can easily do this by checking /ver on your yt2009 url. more up-to-date versions have their version number in console when starting yt2009.

i don't want to straight up block people from participating in this github issue tracker, but - as you've been doing this for quite a while - i'm really hesitant in your case. you'd be the first.

please act civil in this github issue tracker and around yt2009 in general, or i'll have to block you from commenting here.
