If you are running a chainblock, the tool skips people who are blocking you.

Why?

Well, I tried several times on my PC, but Red Block blocks a user properly regardless of blocking you or not.. 😢
Currently, Red Block's Chain-Block may skip users when they are...

  • Following or followed by you. (obviously not in this case)
  • Already blocking them by you.
  • Red Block considers them as "unused accounts" (On Red Block's options page, There's an option to skip an account that is likely unused)
  • When you run Chain-block on Tweet (to block users who retweeted or liked a specific tweet), There's a limitation that users who block you are missing on the list of retweeted/liked users. This limitation is from Twitter's API, not from Red Block.

@gaeulbyul I tried by followers from a specific account, and checked all 296 accounts which got skipped.

6 were people who I follower or follow me the rest were people already blocking me, and they didn't get blocked.

Using:

0.14.0.4

in Chrome Version 102.0.5005.115 on Windows 10.

to get around that issue you could use mirror block, which is a similar extension but ONLY for blocking people who already block you! It works well in conjunction with redblock, especially when i only want to block people who block me!
