Something went wrong. On my first try it worked and after running “Index Snapshots” I could see previous backups of this repo in the “Tree View” as well as various entries in the “Operation List”. Now, 3 days later, I ran “Index Snapshots” again, but it resulted in an error:
So I had to mount the rclone.conf without the ":ro" – read-only part and all is well again. |

Any ideas if this could work?
Provided the host is using the same rclone version as the backrest container this should work, right?
This way, I could connect backrest to an existing outside repo and since I mounted it read-only there shouldn't be any danger, unless I mess up something else.
One could even mount the host's rclone into the container, right?
