GatewayD requires plugins to do the handshake before they are started and dispensed, but it is not supported by this plugin. One way is to add a feature in GatewayD to disable the handshake, but that isn't desired. So, it'd be better to implement this. This, in turn, causes plugin versioning to be disabled, which should be fixed as well.
