Exit the app with SIGINT

Might be a silly question but how do we handle the SIGINT when user ctrl+c and try to exit from the app?

First of all - there aren't silly questions :) - just questions waiting to be answered.

Now - when we initialize the console on Windows, we use SetConsoleMode with 3 parameters : ENABLE_WINDOW_INPUT | ENABLE_MOUSE_INPUT | ENABLE_EXTENDED_FLAGS

In the documentation (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/console/setconsolemode) there is also another parameters (ENABLE_PROCESSED_INPUT) that if used will enable Ctrl+C processing (and will require the usage of SetConsoleCtrlHandler). If not used (like in our case - the Ctrl+C combination is not intercepted by the terminal - it is just send as it is to us to process.

We use the same technique on both the C++ and the Rust project and it works just fine (no terminal hooks, we handle everything).

For UNIX like (e.g. ncurses) we initialize with .raw() and .cbreak() [https://linux.die.net/man/3/raw] --> this disables the processing of Ctrl+C --> "The raw and noraw routines place the terminal into or out of raw mode. Raw mode is similar to cbreak mode, in that characters typed are immediately passed through to the user program. The differences are that in raw mode, the interrupt, quit, suspend, and flow control characters are all passed through uninterpreted, instead of generating a signal. The behavior of the BREAK key depends on other bits in the tty driver that are not set by curses."
