Data points: the setup was a run with either Perky settings of 181 to 229, target zone 182 (for the runs I was assisting); or AutoTrimps controlled auto portal with a setting of Zecker 0 181 to 229 (for the pure AutoTrimps runs).
The actual portal was done on zone 25. Void maps were run on 25, and the portal was taken at the beginning of zone 26. This setting resulted in AutoTrimps spending time running a map on zone 25 to get all the prestiges, as well as time to buy resorts.
ratios of 400 / 8 / 0 in both cases. Maximum scientists of 500. This is sufficient to cover all purchases over the first 25 zones (including gymmystic)
AutoTrimps controlling itself with no user input, gets about 310 to 315,000 trimps, while I get around 480,000 trimps by using manual gathering, and spending time on building.
To clarify: the only manual controls that I do, are (1) early force buy of a couple of hundred scientists, (2) open those first 10 traps as soon as housing is purchased and the Trimp population goes below 50%, (3) switch between farming and building. Simply spending time on building until AutoTrimps stopped building, and then going back to gathering. This differs from the runs were AutoTrimps was in charge, as it would not spend time on building when it was building tributes.
The major difference in tributes led to a major difference in gem production which in turn led to a major difference in housing purchasing, which in turn gives a major difference in population and overall production. This is a key failure on AutoTrimps's part.
