Dear all,

The proposal has been made to obsolete

GO:0044564 envenomation resulting in occlusion of the pore of voltage-gated potassium channel in another organism and GO:0044563 envenomation resulting in slowing of activation kinetics of voltage-gated potassium channel in another organism

The reason for obsoletion is that these represent specific mechanistic steps of the channel activation and is outside the scope of GO. These terms will be replaced by the parent venom-mediated inhibition of voltage-gated potassium channel activity

There are 2 EXP annotations to GO:0044564 by UniProt (will be automatically replaced) and no annotations to GO:0044563
There is one mapping to InterPro:IPR000881 (annotation ticket is here: geneontology/go-annotation#5697)

These terms are no present in any subsets.

You can comment on the ticket: geneontology/go-ontology#29857

Thanks, Pascale
