Data Upload

Good morning,

I'm trying Germinate to integrate it with a project from my university I would like to ask if there are other ways to upload data to the Germinate database in addition to uploading an excel file.

Hi Foglia,
Germinate has its own API as well as limited support for the Breeding API, so depending on what data you want to upload, this may be possible through the API.
Keep in mind that the Excel templates can be uploaded through the API as well, not just through the web interface.
If you can share some more information about what data you want to upload and what the difficulties with the Excel templates (or why you can't use them) are, that'd be very helpful.

Thanks a lot for your reply.

Speaking with the professor, he asked me if there were other ways not to upload through the excel files because, for example, two people, who compile (simultaneously) their excel file, could write the same data wrong.
Now, I will better look at the API you recommended to see if I can solve this problem to not load from excel files and I will propose this solution.
