Known Issues

New Features Since v0.11.x

OAuth

• Acquisition should now properly refresh OAuth tokens. This means that as long as you open acquisition once a week, you should not need to reauthenticate.

Login Dialog

• You can now specify the realm you are logging into.
• Some login settings have been moved into a new advanced options panel that is hidden by default.
• At login you can now set the logging level, theme, and profile folder from the advanced options panel.

WARNING:* You must manually set the correct realm for the account you are using to login. In the future acquisition should be able to automatically determine the realm when you authenticate, but for now you have to set the realm yourself.

Bugfixes

• Acquisition should now do a better job of detection incompatible versions of the Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime libraries.

Other Changes

• Started BUILD.md for more detailed build directions.
• Added CONTRIBUTORS to credit the people who have made commits and record a little project history.
• Updated boost to 1.86.0.
• Updated Qt to from 6.5.3 LTS to 6.8.1 because future LTS versions will not be available to non-commercial users.
• Updated to cmake 3.29 and Visual Studio 2022 as part of the Qt update
• A bunch of internal refactoring.
