Error: Cannot seem to sync for Android tablet (Boox)

I can sync well between 2 reMarkable tablets (running Linux). However, a Boox tablet (running Android) does not seem to sync. I get a "Something went wrong... Please check your network connection" message.

However, the cloud settings are identical between all the devices and sync reading stats works for all 3 (so I'm pretty sure the cloud settings are ok).

Is there any issue with this plug-in on Android?
