Scrolling doesn't propagate up the screen when copilot writes a long message #1712

Describe the bug
When copilot sends a long message, the lines propagate up for the first few lines, but then don't overwrite the lines higher up. Eventually once the message finishes, the screen totally updates, but it's impossible to follow as the message streams in.
