FeatureDrop v3 is here

v3 is the biggest release yet. The library still does everything from v2 — changelogs, badges, tours, checklists, feedback widgets — but now it also decides for itself when and how to show features to each user.

What's new

AdoptionEngine (4.08 kB gzip) — a client-side behavioral engine with four modules:

• BehaviorTracker — sessions, dismiss patterns, engagement depth
• TimingOptimizer — cooldowns, fatigue detection, pacing
• FormatSelector — badge vs toast vs modal, auto-picked per user
• AdoptionScorer — A-F grading, breakdown, recommendations

Framework SSR integrations:

• featuredrop/next — React Server Components + FeatureDropScript hydration
• featuredrop/remix — loader helpers + createFeatureDropHeaders
• featuredrop/astro — SSG helpers + getManifestScript
• featuredrop/nuxt — server event handler factory + head script
