Before it was unclear how intersphinx was working, or even really working at all for the plugin when attempting multiple tests and ended up being in the lower priority list. To ensure that our documents are co-existing with the rest of the Python documentation using Sphinx, we should ensure that intersphinx gets enabled and used well with the plugin as well.
