If your plan is to use custom display manager instead of the default one of the chosen desktop environment, archboot already support:

Default Display Manager:

GDM........: Gnome / Budgie / Cinnamon / Mate
LIGHTDM....: Deepin / Enlightenment
SDDM.......: KDE
LXDM.......: Xfce4 / Lxde / Lxqt
