Tab in insert mode autocompletes instead of inserting a tab character #248

To reproduce, type this:

ab acEnter
aTab

Instead of inserting a literal tab character, the editor will instead autocomplete the "a", switching between "ab" and "ac" if you keep pressing Tab.

I'm seeing this when the syntax is set to "Plain Text", so hopefully no other plugins are interfering.
