datascript.listen fails on withDatascriptQuery #2

I've been attempting to update this lib to datascript 1.0.3 (on my fork), however I've run into some issues that I have trouble debugging on my own. If you could offer some input it would be greatly appreciated! Uncaught Error: No protocol method ISwap.-swap! defined for type null: is the error that is thrown right now and the stack traces back to componentDidMount and componentWillUnmount from withDatascriptQuery.
