Some day I will investigate the blob/web url way of doing this as described here: https://www.newline.co/fullstack-react/articles/introduction-to-web-workers-with-react/

However this way seems to require some more boilerplate code: https://github.com/fullstackio/awesome-fullstack-tutorials/blob/master/react/guide-to-web-workers-in-react/react-worker/src/registerServiceWorker.js
