Simultaneous Playing of Multiple Instruments?

Hello, first thank you very much for making this library! Very clear, simple, and easy to use.

I see that it supports polyphony, which is excellent. I'm wondering, though, if it would be possible to support playing two or more instruments at the same time? For example, to have a drum track playing and then add another instrument to play with a keyboard at the same time? To have the same capabilities for all instruments (pitch and volume adjustment) would be ideal.

Is this something you think could be supported?

Hello, thank you for writing to me, I am glad that someone finds this project useful.
What you propose could be implemented but on an esp32-s3 board since it has psram and the samples from various instruments could be loaded there, on the esp32 board that this project uses we are limited by the ram, since the samples that are on the flash are loaded in an array in the ram so I only load one instrument at a time, if the samples were smaller more instruments could be loaded in the ram, but that implies reducing the quality of the samples that are currently 32khz, 16 bit , monophonic.
But technically you can adapt the library to use more instruments at the cost of reducing the quality of the samples or adapt it to be used on a board like the esp32-s3.
