Create "Select" for Component Library - UI

Overview

Select components are used for collecting user provided information from a list of options.

Background

This project is heavily reliant on the Atomic Design process. As explained by the HfLA Design System Guide for Designers, it is the simplest way to go through all the possible steps that are required for this component part.

You can also get information from the MUI website - Select.

Action Items

Select can include the following (but feel free to add more as you research):

• Basic select
• Select with labels and helper text
• Select with auto width
• Select with multiple selections

For my research for the select component, I have started looking at the way different Hack for LA groups uses the components. I also branched out to see how other groups such as Dell and Material UI also use the component.
