This Privacy Policy explains how Chrono Sheet mobile application (the "App") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the App. By using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Permissions Granted by the User

To provide the core functionality of the App, we request access to:

  • Google Drive: To list available Google Sheet documents, select a document for storing time measurements, or create a new document.
  • Google Sheets: To read, write, and update user-selected or user-created Google Sheet documents.

1.2 Data Stored

  • On Your Device: application settings and user preferences are stored locally on your mobile device.
  • In Your Google Sheets: Time measurement data you choose to store is saved directly to your Google Sheet documents within your Google Drive.

2. How We Use Your Information

The App uses the permissions and data solely for the following purposes:

  • To list your available Google Sheet documents in Google Drive.
  • To allow you to select a document for storing time measurements or create a new Google Sheet document.
  • To write, update, or read time measurement data in your chosen Google Sheet.

3. Data Sharing

We do not share your data with any third parties. All user data remains:

  • On Your Device: Data stored locally is accessible only to the App.
  • In Your Google Sheets: Data stored in Google Sheets is only accessible by you and the services you authorize via Google’s permissions.

We do not transmit, store, or process your data on external servers or services outside of your device and your Google Drive.

4. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However:

  • Data stored on your device is subject to your device’s security measures.
  • Data stored in Google Sheets is protected by Google’s security infrastructure.

5. User Control and Choices

You have full control over your data. Specifically:

  • Revoke Access: You can revoke the App’s access to your Google Drive and Google Sheets at any time through your Google account settings.
  • Delete Data: You can delete data stored locally on your device or in your Google Sheets directly.

6. Permissions and Authorization

When the App requests access to your Google Drive and Google Sheets, we use OAuth 2.0 to obtain these permissions securely. The permissions requested are limited to the minimum scope required to enable the App’s functionality.

The App never accesses or modifies any data outside the Google Sheet documents you explicitly select or create.

The App uses Google APIs for accessing Google Drive and Google Sheets. These services are governed by Google’s privacy policy:

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable regulations. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
