I use this program to help me keep track of computer use time for my children and I have it send me alerts when the log in and 30, 15, 5, minutes till the end of their hour and then one for the completion of that hours.

This all works well if remember to sign into the computer first and then let them use their own user accounts. But it does not work at all if I let the kids use the computer.

A solution would be to install this program for all users in the Program Files directory. and have a system wide and user settings. This would allow users to create their own settings and it would allow the admin to crate settings that will affect everyone

Right now i tried having it launch using Task scheduler using my admin account and works if i soft reboot but it does not work if its a cold boot. Doesnt make sense

Hmm, let me propose two things - that'll show if I understand the problem correctly or I'm missing something :D

  1. HASS.Agent (the agent itself, not satellite service) can be installed on "per user" basis - you could install it for each of the lil one's pc's and then have separate sensors for each of them

  2. Satellite Service - it's installed to Program Files and runs with the system rather than with the user session - LoggedUser/LoggedUsers sensors could tell you who is using the PC and then create a counter for example in HA or nodered
