What's the connection between LAB02-Research/HASS.Agent and hass-agent/HASS.Agent? I understand that LAB02-Research is the original author, and hass-agent is a fork. If so, why the fork didn't change the name? It's all confusing now...

LAB02-Research was the previous developer, but he has been busy so a couple of person, namely DrR0X-glitch and amadeo-alex has forked it and aimed to develop it in his stead.

(Edit addressing the actual question)
There wasn't too much of a point for the new developers to rename HASS.Agent since it still is the same product and the original development has stopped.

Currently it's not clear whether this fork will continue when the developer returns, or it will be the main fork going forward.

My best hope would be that at some point Sam comes back and we all work towards next versions be it here or in the original repo, if and when that will happen is another matter.
