Maintenance status

This tool, judging from its variable names, is focused on RIOT – yet RIOT ships it with patches applied because #13 and #14 have been uncommented for 2 years.

Is this still maintained for anything outside RIOT?
If not, can we move it into the RIOT organization, so that that becomes upstream and patches are applied by RIOT maintainers (eg. subject to RIOT's ways of review) rather than sitting as patches?
If neither, I'd consider forking it into the RIOT organization instead.

The RIOT project has created a fork of this repository at https://github.com/RIOT-OS/cosy/ with the intent to maintain it further there.

I think this kind of solves the issue, but I'll leave it open for visibility.
