Hello,

I'm interested in this project and wanted to know if you are interested by pull requests.

I plan to do a bit of maintenance and develop a few new features:

• Update dependencies
• Update Rubocop, lint the files
• Add rubocop-rake, rubocop-rspec and rubocop-performance (and lint the files)
• Add support to parse arbitrary strings. The use case is to use it with ignore lists from other sources (e.g.: yaml file, database, etc...)
• Add support to parse arbitrary files. The use case is to read other .*ignore files that follows the Git convention This is already supported.

What do you think ?

Ah, and i'm working with Debian 11, so Ruby 2.7 and bundler 2. Is there a minimal Ruby version the library should support ?
