could be good to make the edge ticks always visible (not just during hover) when there are no intermediate ticks.

could be good to make the edge ticks always visible (not just during hover) when there are no intermediate ticks.

The only case where this could be a problem is if there are a lot of ticks and there are labels already really close to the edge, then the edge tick labels will overlap with existing labels.

The fix might look something like:

• always show the edge tick labels
• if there are tick labels that overlap with the edge tick labels, hide them
