Creating notifications on users' devices is easy. Tidying up afterwards requires significant geeking, which potentially leaves lots of clutter on users' devices that they then have to clean up manually, reducing the PAF (Partner Acceptance Factor).
often enough, a notification is only useful for a defined time or until a defined state is entered, e.g.:
Solution: add a parameter
until:
to device notifications that allows definition of triggers that will cause the notification to be cleared. These would be defined analogous to automation triggers.Adding this parameter would imply creation of a
tag:
(if not user-defined) and wait for the defined trigger(s) before sending theclear_notification
message for said tagBeta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
