I noticed a just in the last day or two the Homebridge Arlo plugin was no longer changing the status of the base stations armed mode. When I tried to login to the Arlo website with the separate credentials/profile I'd made just for the Homebridge plugin to use, it seems to be forcing me to choose a 2FA method, so I'm guessing this is why the plugin is no longer working.

Is anyone else able to confirm this? Any of the owners/contributers have any thoughts on the situation?

Same problem happening for me this week.

Confirmed, just set up the integration as part of a migration from SmartThings and Homebridge doesn't even initialize the plugin.

Man... I bought a wired Arlo two weeks ago specifically as my first HomeBridge device... bummer. Anything in the works for this?

Seems like developer support for this to get around 2FA is dead...

Brutal. Although the mode changes stopped working, I was still able to access my camera feeds in HomeKit....until I accidentally logged in with the account I use solely for the plugin on the website. Spent the better part of a day trying to get the Home Assistant "Aarlo" device to work, but gave up. Such a shame, this was really useful.

I know it’s a shame. Setting up family members and the geolocation mode functionality in the Arlo app is MUCH more hassle and on top of that it does not work as reliably.

Oh, the Arlo geolocation doesn't work at all IME. It loses presence immediately if you use a different device and never regains it, so it's super unreliable and also a battery drain. This plugin was so useful for just simply turning cameras on and off when presence was detected through another, more reliable mechanism.
