v1.0 - Translation Update!
See the wiki for information about commands.
The update has been v1.0 update has been fixed
Woop woop, v1.0 has arrived, with the biggest feature being translation!
What's New:
- The program now comes as a setup file
- Added translation (works for English and Japanese): do "!" and then what you want to translate, for example "!プログラムのフィーチャーに「翻訳」を付けました"
- Made information take up less space and is easier to read
- Sentence breakdown (entering a sentence) now translates the sentences at the bottom.
Remember that at first, kanji appear as "⍰"; follow the instructions in the main page to easily fix this.
v0.9.8 - Imperative Form
See the wiki for information about commands.
What's New:
- Added imperative form - This is found in the "extra" section
- Causative passive has been changed to the more common form (~される instead of ~せられる)
- Moved causative-passive to the causative section instead of passive
All major conjugations are now in the program!
v0.9.7
See the wiki for information about commands.
It's been a week since a release but unfortunately this is only a small update.
What's New:
- You can change the S parameter during the picking of the definition: first search for more than one definition (for example 'omoshiroi 4) then once all the definitions have popped up type 's=?' but use a number between 0-4 instead of '?', for example s=4.
Bug Fixes:
- If a verb has an irregular type such as yodan, the program won't give up altogether but will skip conjugation and instead just lookup information
- Cleaned up some whoopsies ;)
v0.9.6 - Passive Form
See the wiki for information about commands.
Wow, we are creeping up to Version 1.0! Enjoy ;)
What's new:
- Added Passive form! (and causative passive); this can be customised in the preferences like any other form
Bug fixes:
- Fixed bug that caused furigana to generate a correct reading but not the right one for that specific definition
- Fixed definitions which contains '#quot' instead of a quote
- Fixed bug where a last request of 'anki' doesn't always work with verbs
Notes:
- The program has been made a bit more efficient
- The program is more stable; no more major bugs ;)
Here is a smiley for you -> 😎
v0.9.5 - Sentence Input
See the wiki for information about commands.
Yay sentences.
What's new:
- Simply enter a sentence and the program will break it down; giving you the original form of verbs and more information.
Notes:
- Sentence input is still being worked and therefore is subject to change
- Sentence input is not meant to be used as a translator. It just breaks down sentences and then displays useful information.
- This version isn't 100% stable and may crash
- A patch update that faces some of the small issues with the program will come soon
v0.9.4
See the wiki for information about commands.
This update may just be bug fixes but the program is a lot more stable, enjoy!
Bug fixes:
- Fixed: Rarely one of the definitions that a word has isn't shown
- Fixed: Rarely if you used the Final Request of "anki", the program crashes
- Minor change to the displaying of Kanji info; this is more reliable
- More minor improvements
v0.9.3.3
v0.9.3.2
v0.9.3.1
v0.9.3
See the wiki for information about commands.
Woohoo, an update! And this one is good too! (if you didn't notice, I am making the number of the update increase more slowly)
What's new:
- Added new extra information about a definition for a word (in grey), this is only shown if it exists. For example "Antonym: 探す"
- Added new customer parameter settings; finally you can hide the annoying adjective conjugations if you already know them!
Bug fixes:
- Fixed a couple of '/pref' bugs; it more reliable now
