[Feature request]: Breaks Reset After a Certain Period of Suspend/Lock

Problem description

The breaks reset even if I unlock the screen right after locking it

Possible solution

Could it be modified to reset only when the screen remains locked for more than 5 minutes, similar to the idle monitor mechanism?

I'll add that I'm on Linux, CachyOS, Plasma Desktop. I often run into the situation where I've been away from the computer for several hours for something, and as soon as I sit down I get the long break.

OP seems to suggest that there is already a way to have it reset the breaks when away, I'm not sure I see that in the settings. But I definitely agree that it would need to be configurable.

By default, breaks are paused/reset when you lock your screen. You can disable that functionality via preferences file.

@bmayfi3ld can you check the log files to see what happens when you lock screen?

I notice now that it doesn't know when I lock the screen, I still hear the timers going off.

This I don't get any logs when the screen locks.

That is strange, I am Win 25H2 and all works well, I see this in logs:
