I've been having a strange issue with playing Gundam G Generation Overworld on the emulator.
Some times out of nowhere, the game will simply hang up for a few seconds before going back to running normally. There doesn't really see to be a real pattern to when it happens, but most of the time it occurs when I start a battle with animations turned on.
I've messed with several settings both in the emulator and in my own computer, yet nothing seems to really fix this issue; except for changing the I/O timing to Host. Using Fast or Simulate UMD delays, they still happen, but by changing to host, they no longer happen.
This however causes an entirely separate issue; now instead of these freezes/stutters, the game will randomly be stuck loading for absurdly long times, be it before dialogue, when starting and ending battles with animations, or even in the middle of a in-battle transition.
Just like with the hang ups, I have found no way of correcting these load times either.
