Reason

An email address is no longer sufficient. Gmail can be turned into multiple email addresses by using username+alias or user.name, but now, this is no longer supported by many services, which recognize username@gmail.com, username+alias@gmail.com, user.name@gmail.com as one email address, such as Apple ID, FaceBook.

• Why don't I register a new account?
  Good point. There's a way that I can create a new account, and can manage emails from the new account in the old one by using the feature Check mail from other accounts, I tried and it used to be cool, but since Gmail upgrade, these have become bad, such as DKIM.

Another reason, if I need three accounts, I have to register three accounts, it's too wasteful of resources.

• Why don't I use Google Workspace?
  Actually, I've been using Google Workspace for years, from Google A to Google AppS to G Suite and now Google Workspace. I think Google Workspace is rightly positioned as a product for teams and work.
  But as a person who has been using Gmail since its birth, the current Gmail account has associated with me a lot of information and saved a lot of my data, I can't abandon it.

• Google One for personal

Additional context
Nowadays, more and more people prefer to use email with their own domain name. This is why I would like to add custom mailbox domains instead of being able to add an alias mailbox ending in @gmail.com.
