Cursor size is smaller over hyprland desktop and borders and larger over apps

I'm not sure how to refine this, I'm kinda puzzled as to exactly why this happens. My hyprland config sets both HYPRCURSOR_SIZE and XCURSOR_SIZE to the same value (not sure if that's relevant):

env = HYPRCURSOR_SIZE,32
env = XCURSOR_SIZE,32
env = HYPRCURSOR_THEME,catppuccin-mocha-yellow-cursors
env = XCURSOR_THEME,catppuccin-mocha-yellow-cursors

But when on top of applications, the cursor looks larger than on the desktop (or over window borders). Over borders/desktop, it looks about... idk, 4 points smaller? Can't take a screenshot where the cursor shows, so here's a couple pictures:

this is not a hyprcursor issue. Hyprcursor is just a library to provide the cursors.

Might be related to hyprwm/Hyprland#8713, try a different theme

@FedeAbella build catppuccin/cursors from source. the needed hyprcursor metadata is there but theres no tagged release
