No clothing options in clothing menu in stores or ped setup screen

i added illenium-appearance following all the instructions but when i migrate qb-clothing in game it says 0 items migrated and when i open the clothing menu manually or in a shop there are literally no clothing items to choose from. can anyone tell me where i may have gone wrong? ive tried migrating qb-clothing and even fivem-appearance but both say 0 items migtrated. ive tried looking for a fix but all searches lead me to the documentation or here and neither of these show the issue im having.
i followed all the instructions on the docmentation pages and even watched a few tutorials before doing anything so im confused, im not a dev and am slowly learning by building a qb server using available resources so i dont have a clue where to start as all the instructions were clear so ive done something wrong somewhere clearly
