If you want to modify the VS Code extension and test it locally (as opposed to using the version on the Visual Studio Marketplace), then do the following:
- Run
npm install
in the root directory to install dependencies - Inside VSCode, open this project and press
F5
to open a new window with the extension loaded. - Set breakpoints in your code inside
src/extension.ts
to debug your extension. - Find output from your extension in the debug console.
- You can relaunch the extension from the debug toolbar after changing code in
src/extension.ts
. - You can also reload (
Ctrl+R
orCmd+R
on Mac) the VS Code window with your extension to load your changes.
The code for the actual plugin API interface with Logitech Options was factored out into a separate library. You may need to make changes in that codebase separately.
