Based on this library and the opentherm monitor example code I created a monitor sending Opentherm packets to an MQTT-broker.

Additionally I created a python package to make most data available in home-assistant using auto-discovery given the v2.2 OpenTherm spec of 2003. I also didn't find a newer specification.

I'm using this to switch on/off a pump for heating, i.e. only monitoring whether heating is active. But I believe both projects are more broadly applicable. I'm open for suggestions/improvements.
