Folder indicator doesn't show up on Mac

I'm using this package in both Mac and Windows and on Mac the indicator on the folder does not show up.

I dug a bit deeper and I noticed that the classnames open-folder and the option classnames such as red dot do not appear

Selecting 'highlight file' shows an indicator on the file, but still nothing on the folder(s)

I can confirm that this isn't only a problem on Mac. I'm having the same problem on Ubuntu 17.10.

File icons work fine. (Unless folder is collapsed)
But I cannot get the folders to highlight as the description states.
